Bakery Café

Bread and pastry—with coffee and other breakfast items—are available for walk-in purchase at Tinder Hearth Wednesday and Saturday, 9:00AM-12:00PM, and served in our barn.

Starting the week of June 22nd the cafe will be open four days a week: Wednesday through Saturday, for the summer.

Service is cafe style, with no reservations, and choose-your-own seating in the barn and out in our expansive garden.

Online preorders for bread and pastry are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays via our online store: Tinder Hearth Store. Orders must be placed a few days in advance—please read the details at the store link.

Preorders are pre-paid, and thus allow you to avoid waiting in line at the cafe.

Pizza

This spring, come enjoy pizza in the garden on Friday & Saturday evenings, 4:30-8:00PM.

We will add days to our schedule throughout June, and by July we will be open five nights a week: Tuesday through Saturday, for the summer.

Reservations are required, and are booked online here.‍ ‍If it's past 2:30PM on a pizza night, online reservations will be closed, so please call us to check for any open tables that evening--we often have last minute openings in the spring! This will shift as we get closer to July! 207-326-8381

Reservations open on Mondays at 9AM each week, for that week. We do not offer reservations further in advance. We are not able to accamodate walk-ins during the summer months.

We make wood-fired pizza with organic flours and local ingredients, with salad, drinks, and dessert. Our menu changes weekly, and can be found here.

To order TAKEOUT, please call us. During the spring we are often able to accommodate takeout orders placed during service, like a regular ol pizza joint. You can also call us in advance, to claim your takeout slot, starting on Tuesday morning the week of.

WHAT IF IT RAINS? While most of our tables are outside, we do have some seating available on our covered porch and as communal tables in our barn. There are a lot of seats in the barn, but it is a bit of a squish with all of our summer guests! If you would like to change your reservation to take your pizza to-go, due to inclement weather, please give us a call ahead of time so we can plan to have your pizzas ready when you arrive. What to bring?  Dining is outdoors, so the temperatures are variable! We recommend brings layers, sun hats, bug spray, and garden-walking shoes!

What not to bring? No BYOB please, our license does not cover outside alcohol. And NO DOGS, please! We adore all the floofy friends, but unfortunately due to past problems we can only welcome service animals, including in the yard and gardens. Thank you.
