We are thrilled to welcome back QWANQWA, a supergroup of musicians from Addis Ababa, for a night of dancing in the Tinder Hearth barn!
We welcome you to come and celebrate this amazing music with us, both ancient and brand new, here at Tinder Hearth, on the day of the great solar eclipse of 2024. Could anyone have dreamed up a better way to start this season?
Doors open at 5:00PM, with pizza and drinks outside. Music will begin at 6:30PM.

Bakery closed for two weeks
Hello bakery friends-
The team here is taking a little break for rest and projects, starting on February 18th. We’ll be back at it in early March, with bakery preorders opening on Sunday the 3rd, pizza reservations on Monday the 4th, and the cafe reopening on Wednesday the 6th.

Bakery Break & Menus of February 12th
Hey folks-
The bakery is taking a two week bread starting on February 18th for some rest and project time. We will reopen on March 6th.
This week, bread and pastry can be reserved online here for both the Wednesday and Saturday bakes if you would like to get some extras for your freezer. The sales website has the ordering schedule listed, if you’re not familiar.
Reservations for Valentine’s Day pizza are pretty well booked as of 2/12, but takeout pizzas will be available for that night— call us on Wednesday to reserve yours. Friday night pizza reservations are currently open online here.

The bakery is unfortunately closed Wednesday 12/20 due to the storm.
We are not baking or delivering out to stores today.
We have just had power restored and WILL BE OPEN on Friday 12/22 for pizza and Saturday 12/23 for breakfast and bread & pastry.

Kongero at Tinder Hearth
We are excited to announce that the barn will be full of music again, on Saturday, December 16th. Kongero, a Swedish folk'appella group, is coming to Brooksville for two shows, presented by our friends over at Bagaduce Music. Tickets are available for sale at the button above. We will be serving snacks and drinks—pizza will not be available this time. The first show starts at 5:00PM, the second at 7:30PM. Make sure you purchase tickets for your preferred time!
Kongero is a highly esteemed, world-touring Swedish Folk'appella group from Sweden that features amazing vocal polyphony that is groovy, intimate, and powerful. The group blends traditional Swedish folk music with contemporary arrangements. A concert with Kongero will take the listener on a fabulous journey, an all-embracing Scandinavian folk music experience.
Kongero group has released four albums, including the recent “Live in Longueuil,” and toured extensively throughout Europe and North America. They conduct workshops and master classes worldwide and have published two Songbooks with material for workshops and choirs. Thanksgiving Week

Hello dear friends-
The bakery will be baking next week on Wednesday the 22nd. We will have all of our regular bread and pastry, and a couple of special loaves available—as well as our regular morning cafe experience with coffee, egg sandwiches, and fresh squeezed OJ.
We will then be closed on Friday & Saturday so that our staff can take a few days to spend with their loved ones. So no pizza on 11/24 and no bake & brunch on 11/25.
If you would like to preorder bread for the 22nd, go to our online preorder site on Sunday to place orders for pickup on Wednesday. It opens on Sunday at 9AM. You can get there by following this link.
We will have bread and pastry available for walk-in sales on the 22nd—here at the bakery and out at our regular stores—but we do recommend preordering if you can!
We will be making our favorite Apricot Fennel Walnut batard, and Cinnamon Raisin loaf--and these special breads will be available only here at the bakery. You can preorder them online on Sunday here.
If you like to access our products through FarmDrop, orders are currently open there, and close at midnight on Monday, for the Wednesday bake.
And in case you didn’t know… FarmDrop is amazing! Pickup is available in Town Hill, Ellsworth, Stonington, Castine, Blue Hill, and Northport! And if you’re on the Blue Hill Peninsula, you can choose to have your order delivered to your door. FarmDrop offers an amazing mix of vegetables, meats, Quill’s End dairy, goat cheese, apple cider, fruit, and prepared foods all from local producers. It’s an amazing gift for the community! Pickup is on Wednesday each week, at your chosen location.
