Tinder Hearth is thrilled to announce Singing Bamboo Trio — an evening of Carnatic music with Shantala Subramanyam—flute/vocals, L. Subramaniam—Mridangam /Kunnakol, and Madhu Vadlamani—violin on Saturday, April 19th. The show will take in the Tinder Hearth barn, with dinner available before the show.

Carnatic music is renowned for its emphasis on improvisation of beautiful ragas followed by compositions with spiritual, philosophical and nature themes. The compositions are followed by spontaneous exchanges of highly evolved rhythmic improvisations. The concert will take you through flights of ecstasy, meditative passages and excitement with Flute, violin, vocals, Mridangam and kunnakol, vocal percussion.
Doors open at 4:30PM with soup, bread and drinks available for purchase.
Music starts at 6:30 PM.
Children 13 and under get in free.
Music will be inside, with seating.
Tickets are $25, and advanced purchase is strongly recommended.
